NewsLetter License Terms

This page distinguishes the code license from rights to services and trademarks.

Distributed code

The local distribution examined declares GPL-2.0-or-later. The Newsletter 9.3.0 kernel and derived modules retain notices from The Newsletter Team. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute the code under the applicable version of the GPL, retaining notices and complying with your obligations, including providing source code where applicable.

The license text provided with the software and the notices for each component take precedence over this summary. Consult the GNU GPL version 2.

External services

The code license does not grant a commercial license to the Newsletter AI service, credits, an email account, paid support, or access rights to third-party services. These services are governed by separate agreements.

Brands and graphic material

The use of names and logos to identify and link to the project does not authorize representing the operator or attributing non-existent endorsements. The code license does not transfer rights to other brands.

Guarantees and modifications

The disclaimer and limitation of liability clauses are those of the applicable license, without excluding mandatory rights. Identify your modifications when redistributing and retain provenance information.
